I'm thinking there has to be a three out there.

The Beattles - what a great band - rivals to the Rolling Snotes in their prime, so I believe.

"John [Entwistle] and I were listening to a stereo L.P. of The Beatles in which the voices come out of one side, and the backing track comes out of the other. And when you actually hear the backing tracks of The Beatles without their voices, they're flippin' lousy."

I am no longer going to tolerate the blatant plagarism that has infested this site!!!

This time I am fucking pissed - I've had it. I'm going to see if my login at that other site still works.

I knew there was an obvious one out there - I guess that's the only 3.

Actually surprised that none after 84 - I guess cause Johnny b Goode took a back seat at that point?

I used setlists.net not sure how accurate it is. How many Elvis tunes did the boys cover?

google has Blue Moon written by Lorenz Hart and Richard Rogers - but i have no idea if they sang it. We have to give Promised Land to Chuck - no?

I only see Blue Suede Shoes - which we would have to take from Carl to count it - any others?

Whoever this Traditional guy is wins hands down - he's all over the place.

There are some other guys (Willie Dixon,Leadbetter,...) that they covered 3 or so tunes - but I doubt all on the same night.

I also didn't realize they covered so many Beatles tunes - there has to be over a dozen there.

Don't forget Dylan covers...the Dead did plenty, with and without The Man.

I think 9/22/91 had 3 Dylan covers.
